“By the Day” is a 365 project observing the rhythm of time as it quietly unfolds. Through daily acts—whether photographic, written, or otherwise—this series collects one moment at a time. No grand gestures, no final destination. Just a simple agreement to show up, every day, and notice.
This project began not with a concept, but with a rhythm: once a day, every day.
“By the Day” is my attempt to meet time on its own terms—slow, steady, and sometimes uncertain. It’s a record of presence more than progress; a collection of small moments that might otherwise go unseen or unheld.
Some days are full of color and clarity. Others are quiet, routine, or blurred at the edges. Together, they create a year — not because they are extraordinary, but because they are continuous.
This is my way of asking: What does a year really look like, one day at a time?
