I've been documenting families for 14 years, and have also trained as a postpartum doula. My experience as a mother has completely shaped the way I approach photographing birth, families, and motherhood. Time moves so quickly and changes in an instant, even though it doesn't feel like it when we're in the thick of raising littles. Photography gives us a way to hold on to all the details we swear we'll never forget, the people we love, and the every day moments that make up our lives.

Over the years, I have had the unique privilege of documenting families through so many different seasons- from the anticipation of pregnancy and the intensity of birth to the quiet wonder of bringing a newborn home and the beautifully ordinary days of raising a family. Each session looks different, and every family has their own story to tell. My approach is rooted in experience, but guided by what matters most to you: the connections, the little details, and the moments you want to hold onto long after life has moved on to the next chapter.

- Postpartum doula trained, bringing an understanding of the transition into parenthood and the needs of growing families
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on maternal mood disorders and postpartum care

Bonnie told my birth story in photos. This was my 3rd baby and I was dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis and going through treatment. A friend put Bonnie and I in contact and then I just asked my OB if she could document my story in the OR, as it was a planned C-section.
Bonnie was with us from the moment I check in doing pre-op prep until I was out of the OR and in the recovery room nursing my baby on my remaining breast. The photographs tell the story in words I haven't had the strength to express.
