My photography journey began when I was pregnant with my youngest. I just wanted to take better pictures of my children. Not necessarily perfectly posed, but photographs that would show them how much I love them. I wanted them to grow up with a record of their childhood- the places we went, the people we loved, and the little things that made up our everyday lives.
I didn't know then just how much those photographs would shape the way I see the world.

I know how easy it is to get caught up in the day-to-day of raising a family- how the baby and little kid years can feel endless while you're with them, only to look back and wonder where the time went. I know there are things I never want to forget, and I've learned that some of those moments that see ordinary at the time become the ones we treasure most.
My background extends beyond photography. I am a maternal mental health advocate, trained as a postpartum doula, and hold a Bachelor's degree in psychology with my focus being on postpartum mood disorders and postpartum care. I've had the privilege of teaching birth photography at the
Click Away Photography Conference in 2018 and a judge for the Birth Photographer of the Year with the International Association of Professional Birth Photographers in 2025 and 2026.

Hi!! I'm Bonnie!
I've been documenting families for 14 years, and have also trained as a postpartum doula. My experience as a mother has completely shaped the way I approach photographing families, and motherhood. Time moves so quickly and changes in an instant, even though it doesn't feel like it when we're in the thick of raising littles. Photography gives us a way to hold on to all the details we swear we'll never forget, the people we love, and the every day moments that make up our lives.
My work has been featured on Yahoo! News, Good Housekeeping, TODAY, Daily Mail, and other various news outlets. I taught at the 2018 Click Away Conference, and a judge for the 2025 & 2026 Birth Photographer of the Year.
